About Us
KDC’s Directors are Development Consultants David and Nishani Kampfner, supported by a team of specialist engineers, archivists, historians and fundraising professionals.
In 2001, the team founded the SS Robin Trust, the registered charity which owns SS Robin, the world’s oldest complete steamship, built in London in 1890.
KDC developed the conservation, funding and transformation of this historic vessel, taking a start-up charity from a grass roots, volunteer-led base to a £3.5m major restoration scheme.
KDC London assists and consults with a number of industrial heritage projects, delivering project management, fundraising, options appraisals and feasibility assessments, working to safeguard key historic assets.
