London's Historic Ships Survey

One of London's historic ships - the recently restored SS Robin

Britain, at heart, is a maritime nation dependent upon the seas for trade. The historic ships based in London provide a valuable source of information and inspiration, as well as facilities to inform and educate visitors about Britain's maritime heritage.

London SHIPS is a working collaboration of six historic vessels in London : Cutty Sark, HMS Belfast, SS Robin, HQS Wellington, Massey Shaw and Golden Hinde.

Today the group launched its first online survey to research experiences and thoughts on London's historic ships. This is a great opportunity to support the group who are genuinely interested in your views and to making continual improvements. The survey is short and takes no longer than two minutes.

So, if you've ever walked past a historic ship in London and wondered about it or if you've had an experience onboard one of these vessels now's your chance.

Please take part in the London's Historic Ships Survey (survey closes on 31st December 2010).
